No Yeast Homemade Pizza
No yeast homemade pizza is absolutely no hassle. This recipe only uses 4 basic ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt and oil. And for the sauce topping, no cooking, no packaged tomato sauce or paste needed. So, I created this no yeast homemade pizza recipe because I will probably never have yeast, tomato paste or tomato sauce just lying around the house. Because I have tried the recipe several times, I shared it. And it works for everyone I shared it with, so I want you to give it a try too:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp Baking powder
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 5 minutes Pizza sauce
- Grated White Cheddar (or whatever easy melt cheese you have)
- Chorizo Sausage (or any topping of your choice)
- Red pepper flakes
*If you have some Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs, feel free to use them too.
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F or 200°C.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder
- Gradually add the water to the flour mixture, and knead the dough
- Add the oil gradually and knead.
- Dough should be nice and soft
- Lightly flour a smooth surface for rolling the dough
- For dough into a circle (this will help with the shape)
- Roll dough into a 12 inch circle
- Put pizza base a baking tray 1
- Cover pizza base with pizza sauce
- Add the cheese and chorizo sausage
- Bake the pizza for 20 minutes – until cheese melts and dough is cooked through
