Coffee Banana and Oats Smoothie
This Coffee Banana and Oats Smoothie is as easy as Sunday morning, spiced with vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg for perfection in a glass.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tbsp Vanilla (Plus 1/2 tbsp)
- 1 tbsp Instant Coffee
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon (Plus 1/2 tsp)
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 cup Oats
- 1 very ripe Banana
- Ice
- (OPTIONAL) Add honey for an even sweeter smoothie
Directions
- Heat coconut milk in sauce pan, then add 1 tbsp Vanilla, the coffee and 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Put coffee mixture in freezer until almost completely frozen
- In a blender, combine icy coffee mixture, oats, banana, ice and remaining vanilla and cinnamon.
- Blend until smooth
Serve immediately and enjoy.
